Let me Introduce you to PlutusâŠ
Problem:
â68% of college students are interested in investing but lack the know-howâ
Solution/Product:
âPlutus is a platform for amateur investors to learn and grow their money with experienced fund managers.â
Whatâs good about it?
The amateur investor market is growing and there really isnât one place to go and learn all you need to know.
This platform fits into a niche that is growing every single day.
Current Investing Startup Market
Trading: Robinhood/Public
Social Investing: Public/Commonstock
Wealth Management: Titan (check these guys out)
Learning: Plutus
Gen Z View:Â Product and marketing need to be good, if so this could really catch on to younger generations
I am heavily involved in the stock market, and Iâve been saying the amount of kids investing nowadays has probably grown upwards of 300% this year.
The issue is they donât know how to invest they just think itâs buying and selling. Apps like this have the chance to both educate and generate revenue from this gap in knowledge.

Other investment ideas
Like I stated before, the market for retail and amateur investors is growing rapidly. I have not seen many other startups outside of the ones that I listed, but if you find one, definitely do the proper due diligence on it. Also send it over to me if you feel like getting a Gen Z review.

In the NewsâŠ
Who is Logan Paul?
Well if you remember Vine, Logan was one of the select group of people who had their careers begin on Vine. Once Vine shut down, his audience transferred over to YouTube where he now has over 22 million subscribers. Both Logan and his brother, Jake, have now gotten into professional boxing. Logan has one fight where he was defeated by KSI, another youtuber, and recently his brother Jake Paul was in headlines for knocking out former NBAâer Nate Robinson.
How big of a deal is this fight?
To my generation, this is a pretty big deal. We have seen Logan become famous from the start in 2013, some hate him, and some love him. Either way, both crowds will be invested in this PPV fight. I read somewhere that the first 1 million PPV are $29.99 and after that it will jump to $69.99. Those first 1 million are going to sell quick.
Whatâs the Gen Z view?
Like I mention above, I would say over 75% of people my age know who Logan Paul is, and of course we know that Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest of all time. Some people will watch to see this kid with a mop on his head get KOâd by this all-time legend, but others will watch to see if this 24-year old can actually take on an undefeated challenger.
My bold prediction? Mayweather will KOâd this kid.
What is the future impact of this?
When I saw this post it begged the question, can influencers/celebrities get into the sports world? Obviously boxing is an easy place to start, and we have already seen a few famous people try to challenge the Paul brothers, like hockey player Evander Kane.
In the long run though, will we start to see these influencers compete in sports like golf, hockey, or basketball? Is there a place for a league like this? The views will certainly be there, and it will be driven by Gen Z. An actual sports league may be a little too much, but maybe we will see this occur in the E-Sports world? Celebrities and influencers going against each other in 2k NBA can draw at least half a million views depending on who it is.
Just some food for thought.

No More warm intros.
Although this startup doesn't exactly have a gen z view on it, I wanted to feature it because I just love their product.
They are trying to get rid of the need for warm introductions in the early stage fundraising process.

The product is really awesome and I personally love it.
